Why Turning 18 is NOT such a big deal
You may be a bit confused with my heading, however, it is exactly what I want to share with you today. 18 is considered in many countries the age of reaching maturity. But, what's the fuss of having a new car if you still ask money for gas?
- You are still a pupil. If you think for even a split second that the rules will bend for you as you come of age, you are delusional. You'll still come home early and do your homework as a well-behaving kid does. That means, you are still a parasite living off your parents. But don't feel guilty. That's how it is, for at least one more year.
- Now all rules apply to you as well. Great news for you guys! Now you'll no longer have the excuse for the constant " I'm just a teen rebel looking for attention" or " I'm misunderstood". You'll be a full-fledged member of our society. Sounds fun!
- With great Power comes great Responsibility. FYI, these were Uncle Ben's famous words from the Spider-Man Marvel Comics. In other words, you'll have to take full responsibility for every single mistake. Great!
