1. Ginger, lemon, honey and water will become your best friend. When mixed together and drank you will instantly feel better. This is because ginger works as a detox to flush all the bad stuff out of your system, lemon juice with warm water helps in maintaining the pH balance of the body and honey makes it sweet and it’s anti-inflammatory effects and ability to soothe coughs has led to the belief it can also reduce seasonal allergy symptoms
2. Sleep it off- I know that when I’m Sick and it’s during a school day, as soon as I get home I’am going straight to bed
3. Avoid homework- only when you’re sick as homework can make you stressed and you end up doing excessive thinking which your body is not ready for. Either save it for later that day or the next day. Hopefully teachers should understand why you didn’t do it as it is important to get a lot of rest whilst sick
4) Vitamin C- either take lots of fruit or have a vitamin C tablet that dissolves in water (eventhough it’s nasty). Vitamin C is important as it helps strengthen the immune system.
5) create a suitable environment- in other words stay in bed and don’t come out as you need to be as comfortable as possible and so people around you won’t get sick too
