Hey guys! I hope you all had an amazing fun 2 weeks off over the school holidays. Weren’t we lucky with the weather! We’ve had beautiful sunny days instead of April showers here in the UK however places like Benidorm had flash floods and pouring rain everyday. But here in the uk we had hot summer like days, warm enough for swimming pools and needing sun cream.

This is the first year we have had a Garden so we have been loving having laid back days in the garden all day. Some days the kids were still playing out there till 8pm its been amazing. We share a community garden with some other families and we also have own private garden that we have been sitting in while the kids played with all there new friends in the community garden whilst we watched. I don’t think I ever want my own garden because then they only have each other where as now they have lots of other children of all ages to play with. Its been the best half term yet and ill be gutted when they have to go back to school I can’t wait for the summer holidays!

We had the best Easter Day we have ever had it was a beautiful hot day! The Sunday night the kids went to bed so excited that the bunny was coming. Last year we were travelling to Spain on easter morning so they haven’t had an easter they remember so this one was extra special. They went to bed after leaving some carrots out and me and mark hid all there eggs indoors. They were also very lucky to get 2 swimming pools!

Once they had found all the eggs inside I went outside at 6am yes 6am hah! running around the garden in pjs hiding little plastic eggs for them to do a egg hunt with our new neighbours and now friends.

We then told them to come and get there shoes on and then there friends knocked the door to let us know they were ready. We hadn’t told the kids about the egg hunt outside so they were extra excited to be going outside in there pjs haha!

Then we came in and had our breakfast in the form of rabbit crumpets from Asda hah! Mark then attempted to blow the pools up which went fine until we realised our hose wasn’t going to work so we could only fill the one pool up half way but they enjoyed it regardless. We spent the whole day in the garden and then in the afternoon had a BBQ with our neighbours. It was such a beautiful day and we all had a great time. Corey fell asleep at 4pm when we came inside to have a break from the sun and he was asleep within seconds hah!
