Rainbow Toast – Fun breakfast Idea

When I was a teenager I had to do an activity as part of a course related to food and children and while researching I came across this.

So this morning thought I’d do it with the kids for breakfast. Of course it’s not an everyday thing to do but maybe for special occasions or abit of fun. It’s not exactly an activity to do everyday before the school run

The kids couldn’t wait to do it and all you’ll need it bread, some natural food Colours, milk and a paint brush.

The link for these is at the bottom. £9.99.

Start by adding milk into glasses only a small amount is needed. We only went for 4 colours as it was 7am ha ha.

Add in 2 drops from each colour into your glasses and mix.

Then let the kids go crazy with their paint brushes and bread. We did 4 each just because they wanted to keep doing it but they only ate 2 each. You can do both sides to.

Once your done just pop them in the toaster!

And like magic you have rainbow toast! The kids really enjoyed doing this and cutting up their own fruits to. Something nice to do on a Sunday morning get them involved in the cutting and painting.

They really enjoyed it! Id definitely go with a natural colouring. Have fun!
