Maurizio Sarri is the first Italian coach to win the European League after Alberto Malesani, who had achieved with Parma in 1999, 20 years ago.
Chelsea defeated Arsenal 4-1 in Baku in the Europa League final and this is the first major trophy in Sarri's career.
When Malesani won the UEFA Cup which is now called the Evopian League, in 1999 with Parma, Sarri was working as a banker in the bank.
This is the greatest achievement in Sarri's career as a coach.
On the field today there were also some Italians like Jorginho and Emerson Palmieri played for 90 minutes.
Davide Zappacosta was on the pitch only in the last minutes of the match.
