Samsung Galaxy S9 will be the first Android phone, which will copy the protective function of the iPhone X model, which is the TrueDepth camera.

The camera mentioned enables the 3D Face Detection function, known as the Face ID.

This, however, does not mean that Samsung will copy the iPhone X design from the back, to its mobile phone Galaxy S9. What Samsung will implement is the front camera with the 3D sensor, which will be the camera and sensor version of the company, TrueDepth.

Up to Galaxy S9 share us a couple of months, while we'll probably know more details about the upcoming Face ID feature for Samsung's premium phone.
