A coronial Inquest into the death of Northern Territory man Patrick Moriarty will recommence in April as police continue to investigate his suspicious disappearance.
The 70-year-old was last seen at dusk on December 16, 2017, after leaving the Larrimah Hotel, a tiny highway pub about 500 kilometres south-east of Darwin, on a quad bike with his kelpie dog Kellie.
Despite extensive searches and an initial inquest, the disappearance of the man remains a mystery and there has been no trace of him or his dog since.

The case has become one of the Northern Territory's most Notorious Missing person investigations.
Mr Moriarty's home was found with a chicken in the microwave and the table was set ready for his evening meal.
His hat, keys and vehicle were all at home. The fan was going. The lights were on.
But Mr Moriarty and his beloved dog were gone.
NT Police believe the Missing man was murdered and announced a $250,000 reward last year for information leading to his body or a conviction.
The inquest into the man's death will begin on April 6 in Katherine.
