According to the spokesperson for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), Ran Kochav, soldiers have “neutralized the terrorists,” some of whom were involved in the attack on the restaurant.
The Izzedine al-Qassam Brigades, which are the armed wing of Hamas, claimed that those who were killed were its fighters.
Jihad Abu al-Assal, the governor of Jericho, stated that the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) had removed the bodies. He also stated that eight people were taken into custody.
