New York Mets minor league outfielder Tim Tebow has a broken bone in his right hand which will require surgery to fix. The procedure will take place on Tuesday, and the recovery time is estimated to be six to eight weeks. Thus, this injury will cost Tebow the rest of his 2018 baseball campaign.

This is terrible news for Tebow. He has yet to be called up from the minors, and this injury only acts as a setback.
Tebow made a name for himself as a baseball player in Double-A this season. He averaged .273 with six home runs and 36 RBIs, and earned himself a spot in the Eastern League All-Star game. He went 1-4 in the game with a rather impressive standup double.

Some may recognize Tim Tebow as a baseball player, but most sports fans have almost certainly have heard of Tim Tebow the quarterback. The former Heisman Trophy winner played in the NFL for three seasons. Tebow had an impressive run with the Broncos in 2011, when he led his team to a Wild Card victory in overtime against the Pittsburgh Steelers. During that season, he threw for 1700+.
