10 Beautiful Pink Perennial Flowers

Bedazzled Pink Phlox

Producing gorgeously pink star-shaped flowers, this plant will explode with blooms in the early Spring. Though these first start off as shrubs, over time, they will grow into impressive and expansive groundcover. Pink Phlox does best in grow zones 4-8.

Pure Joy Sedum

This plant is shaped unique, starting off as short clumps of semi-upright flowers, but it’s the flowers that are truly amazing. Perfect for late-Summer color, the Sedum usually blooms in early Fall. Try this in your yard if you live in zones 3-9.

Dianthus Fruit Punch

A specially-colored variety of the classic Dianthus, the Fruit Punch variety is sure to bring a good dose of color to your yard. This plant has bright pink flowers that sit upright on a clump of greenery. These look magical!

Peonies

One of my favorite flowers, because they smell amazing and look better, the peony is one of the perfect Pink Perennial Flowers. Pick a variety that produces pink blooms.  Keep it regularly watered and prune it back in the fall to promote growth and you may get to watch it grow 50 years old!

Snapdragon

An incredibly frost-tolerant flower, this is one of the best pink perennial flowers for you if you live in a colder area. However, if you want to enjoy their blooms in your yard come Spring, get them in the ground in the late Fall. They do best in partial shade!

Hibiscus

These gorgeous pink perennials aren’t just for the tropical island of Hawaii, they can grow in zones as low as 5! Though the blooms don’t last longer than a few days– making for lovely hair accessories–they are replaced fast. With this plant, you are sure to enjoy gorgeous pink blooms for years.

Geranium

These gorgeous pink perennial flowers bloom indoors AND out so you can enjoy them whenever. Perfect for container gardening, the Geranium plant thrives in partial sun. They also do best in growing zones 10-11 where they are cold hardy. In other areas, you will have to uproot the plant and bring it indoors for winter.

Pink Carnations

Of course, this famous flower made the list! It’s simply too stunning not to include. These gorgeous plants only need a few inches of water a week and do best in direct sun for only four hours every day. Expect these beauties to bloom in late May.

Pink Camellia

These look a bit similar to a Peony, and are known for being just as dramatic to look at in the garden. This shrub will grow to be 6-15 feet tall over time, producing clusters of wispy pink flowers in the Spring. It thrives in moist soil, so make sure that you keep it in an area where this is possible.

Petunia

An incredibly heat-tolerant flower, the Petunia thrives in zones 9-11. Because it is heat tolerant, you won’t have to water more than once a week. It is also recommended to remove dying flowers to promote new growth throughout the season. Because Petunias are susceptible to rain damage, they are best grown in hanging baskets or containers, where they can be easily moved in case of a storm.
