Story about Puppies having Fading Puppy Syndrome

As I told you in my blog post All Because Of A Dog, we bought a male Bassett Hound Dog online. Two years after it, we bought another female Bassett hound dog we named Jadoo (named after a cartoon character, maybe some of you knows her). She’s been a wonderful mom and has given us a litter of puppies for the 3rd time now. She gave birth to 10 pups and we were very much happy about the numbers. Unexpectedly, it is not all about just giving birth. As an owner, you also have the task to monitor their body temperature. We didn’t know that because previous birth was very okay. Immediately on day 1, a puppy died. This made me research about fading puppy syndrome. I applied everything I researched but still, the puppies didn’t survive. Days past and the weak puppies died one-by-one until there are only 4 healthy pups left. It was all so heartbreaking especially when you did everything for your puppies to survive. I also did not see any veterinarian because services like that in our place is costly.
