Unfortunately there is only one automatic transmission variant(Titanium+ 1.5L Ti-VCT AT) this one has paddle shifters, dual clutch and sports mode as well and rest are manual, BS6 standard.

Ecosport Engine, power and performance

So the diesel Ecosport have 1498cc turbocharged 4-cylinder DOHC 1.5L DV5 diesel engine and this engine makes 99 bhp at 3750rpm and 215Nm at 1750rpm, FWD, manual 5 speed.

Petrol, 1496cc 3-cylinder DOHC 1.5L Ti-VCT petrol engine which is capable to produce 121 bhp of power at 6500rpm and 149Nm at 4500rpm manual and automatic.

Diesel have more power and more torque than the petrol.

Definitely Ford blessed their every car with impressive personality thus Ecosport looks really good and attention seeker indeed.
Boxy body language and sporty touchs makes it adorable somehow.

Front face 
Very bold face it have, big grill, nice powerful headlamps and huge fog lamps yes fog lamps are bigger than the regular size, DRLs are LED greatly blends with face.
Great ground clearence is easily noticeable thanks to noticeable front bumper. Very small hood not so long, big ORVMs blinkers on them.

Side profile 
This profile gives you a glance of sporty line running across Ecosport these line maintains the sportiness which was started from front.
Windows are big and allow too much of airy feel inside the cabin, chrome used so nicely.
The black touch below doors increase sportiness greatly and beautifully cutted alloy wheels making it more aggressive.

Back side 
The thing of attraction here is the spare wheel on the boot gate and the Ford cover on it, fab. Tail lamps are very good also and handle to open boot blends with one side tail light clever thought Ford I like it.
Roof mounted spoiler with stop light at the middle of it, nice rear windscreen wiper is the combo of SUV which complete the end.
The rear bumper is finished in black, reflectors are there.
No shark fin old one is there, sunroof is also there for you.

Interior

The quality is very nice, rear seats have good amount of leg room, knee room, under thigh support and head room, all adjustable headrests are there, no rear center headrest, rear center arm rest with cup holders.
Seat are comfortable and big windows and sunroof makes the cabin sufficiently airy. Coming to the front seat, they are also comfortable equally have little side bolsters also which hugs you and your co-passenger.

Dashboard finishing is just marvelous and feels great in a touch, there is big infotainment screen which pop out from the dashboard as its predecessor it works brilliantly the graphics are also superb and we all know that infotainment system is a boon.
Well coming down there are AC control and gear selector/knob and space to keep your things, center arm rest openable with storage space.

Three spoke steering wheel have magnificent feedback, some controls on it, behind steering wheel there is nice instrument cluster ready to inform you speed, rpm of camshaft, how much fuel you have, engine temperature, your total distance (odo), trip, time and many things.
