Earth's Evil Twin Venus Is Earth's Future | Venus Planet Facts

In this video we talk some facts about Venus - Its rotation, conditions such as pressure, temperature, gases, elements, formation, water on Venus, life on Venus, etc. We have also covered some of your important questions such as why Venus is called earth's evil twin, why Venus is believed to be the future and the past of our home planet, and etc. We hope you'll definitely enjoy this video. If you like this one, please head on to this previous video which will fantasize and amaze you with the hypothesis about the future of earth.

VENUS FACTS
1. Weird Rotation - The Venus moving in a very different and weird manner. It is so slowly rotating that it's one day larger than its 1 year. Not only this but Venus is the only planet in our solar system which rotates east to west where as rest of planets are rotating in the direction west to east.
2. Harsh Weather - Venus is the most horrible place in our solar system when planets are considered. The conditions on the Venus are so dire that despite it is called earth's twin, we can imagine a trace of life out there. Venus is the second planet from the sun yet the hottest.
3. Venus is the future of earth - And also the past! Believe it or not, but scientists believe that Venus once had all the conditions necessary for life like on earth today. It had mighty oceans, the gases, the perfect temperature, but all was lost with time as the sun grew hotter and hotter. Therefore it is believed that as the sun is getting hotter and hotter, the earth is the next to witness significant rise in temperatures and would turn into a planet deadlier than the Venus.
4. Venus is covered in clouds - But the clouds are not water vapors. At one point it was thought Venus might be a planet of tropical environment and dense forest as it was covered with clouds but later discoveries revealed that those were sulfur clouds and other gases entirely covering the surface of Venus.
5. Atmosphere of Venus - Venus is known for its harsh weather. Its atmosphere is mainly composed of carbon-dioxide which absorbs maximum sunlight and heats up the planet even more. Apart from that Venus has 1000 more volcanic openings which induces sulfur into its atmosphere.
6. How do we know about the Venus - We have sent probes there. The dense clouds of Sulfuric acid surrounding Venus make it impossible to view its surface from outside.A detailed study of Venus finished in 2015. In 2006, the European Space Agency sent the Venus Express space craft into its orbit and collected some information about the planet. In the 1960s, scientists observed and measured the extreme temperatures and hostile environment. It is thought Venus did once have oceans but these evaporated as the planets temperature increased.
However the first mission to Venus was carried by Russia. They launched Venera 1 space probe in 1961 which they lost in space.
