MILK Cake, very simple and easy to make. Tasty recipe with
very less ingredients.
Ingredients-
Milk - 2 ltr
sugar- 200 gms
ghee/clarified butter-3 to 4 tbsp
cardamom powder - 2 tsp
pistachio- 3 to 4 -cut into halves
1 lime juice
Method-
keep milk for boiling in heavy bottom pan, once milk comes to
boil, reduce the flame. keep stirring on low flame till milk
reduce to 1/4. once reduce,add lime juice ,milk starts curdling.
keep stirring till,whey separates and evaporates. now add sugar
keep stirring on low flame. once sugar mix, add cardamom powder
and mix. once the mixture becomes light golden in colour and
and no water left. switch off the flame. take cake tin, grease
with ghee and transfer themixture in tin. with help of spoon press
the mixture to spread evenly .let the mixture set for 3 to 4 hours.
after 4 hours , demould it, if to find difficult to demould,
take tin and keep on flame for few seconds, in this way ghee will
melt and helps in demoulding.slice the cake into pieces and garnish with pista.
