Learn to make Egg Biryani at home. Making Egg Dum Biryani is the easiest biryani among all the Biryani recipes. Cooking Biryani on Dum gives this biryani a nice blend of aromatic spices. Egg Biryani recipe includes all the spices that goes with Chicken Biryani and taste the same. Egg biryani can be made quickly as we do not need to marinate it. Once you open the seal of the Pot in which Egg Dum Biryani was your home will be filled with aromatic Spices. A good recipe to try on weekends.

Few tips:
1. Soak Basmati rice in water for atleast 30 minutes before cooking it.
2. Fry the Eggs with spices to make it more flavorful.
3. Keep a check on rice while cooking. After 5 minutes check the rice. It should be cooked 80%. If done drain it and spread on a Plate. Once all the steam from the rice passes cover with another Plate.
4. Don't make soft scrambled egg. It can make rice soggy.
5. Use of Ghee enhances the flavor of the Dish.
6. Do not discard the oil used for frying onions. Use it in further cooking process of Biryani.
7. Adding Orange color is optional.
Ingredients:
5 boiled eggs
1.5 Cup - Basmati Rice
2 nos. - Onion (thinly sliced for frying)
1 tbsp - Ginger Garlic paste
2 nos.- green chilies slit
1/4 Cup - Curd
2 tomatoes - grated
2 tbsp - Lemon Juice
1/4 tsp- Cumin Seeds
4- Cloves
3- Black Pepper corns
2 inch- Cinnamon Sticks
1 strand of mace
2 nos. - Finely Chopped Onions
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp- Red Chilli Powder
1/2 tsp- Coriander Powder
1/4 tsp - Turmeric Powder
1/4 tsp - Biryani Masala
2 tbsp - Ghee
1/4 Cup- Milk (Soak few Saffron strands in warm milk)
