Aldi Shoppers looking to keep warm for less have been rushing to snap up a "luxurious" £34.99 Specialbuy item that is said to have the look - and quality - of more expensive brands.
With energy bills still remaining a concern this year, households are continuing to look for alternative ways to "heat the person, not the home" in a bid to bring down costs.
One such item that shoppers have been purchasing are thick, fluffy throws that you can wear while sitting on the sofa, or for popping on as an extra layer when in bed.
Now you can get one for less with Aldi's Kirkton House XL Ribbed Throw, priced £34.99, which has managed to rack up glowing five-star reviews from shoppers who say its cheaper than luxury brand versions.
Praised for "looking expensive", the luxurious throw, available in grey, pink and white, is also very similar to the Sultry Romance Ivory Faux Fur Throw from luxury brand French Bedroom which retails at a whopping £140. It is also cheaper than M&S' Faux Fur Ribbed Throw from M&S Collection, which currently costs £59.
Many shoppers have been left amazed at the quality for the price. The throw has already gained an incredible 93% recommendation rate from shoppers on the Aldi website.
One shopper commented: "I've seen these throws at various places ranging up to as much as £140, and they all look the same. This is a fantastic quality throw at an even better price. Ordering and delivery were very good too. Highly recommend."
