1. A pair of wireless sleep headphones that you can use for playing white noise to fall asleep, listening to your fave podcast or music while traveling or working out, and ~so much more.~ You'll be the envy of everyone else still dealing with their earbuds falling out mid-run and mid-sleep.

Amazon, amazon.com

Promising review: "I love this product!! These headband headphones have been a sleep saver for me!! I don’t sleep well and need to fall asleep listening to something but my husband can’t sleep with any light or sound around him. This headband headphones allow me to listen to a podcast, white noise or anything I want to without disturbing my husband. The sound quality is very good and it is comfortable to wear. I’m a side sleeper and the speakers do not hurt my ear or head and I typically fall asleep easily wearing it. One of my best Amazon purchases!!" —Allyson

Get it from Amazon for $19.99 (available in 14 colors).

2. A chunky knit satin-lined winter beanie with a detachable faux fur pom-pom to keep your head toasty warm without disrupting your hairstyle or causing a case of dreaded hat hair.

Beautifully Warm

Promising review: "Best winter hat I have ever owned!! I love the color and I also love how it keeps my hair in place. I love running and hiking, and I have never lost this hat while running. It doesn't even feel like you're wearing anything at all, but it keeps me so warm. It's very comfortable especially for some of us with big afros." —Evermoore

Beautifully Warm is a Black-owned family business that makes satin-lined hats for winter and cap-style hats with a scrunchie opening in the back designed for natural hair.

Get it from Amazon for $22.99+ (available in six colors) or from Beautifully Warm for $24.99+ (available in seven colors).

3. A rechargeable hand warmer with double-sided heat and three temperature settings so you'll be the only one of your friends with happy toasty hands in sub-freezing weather.

amazon.com

It's USB rechargeable, so you can use your phone or a power bank to charge it!

Promising review: "This hand warmer is amazing! My hands are constantly cold and I've tried all sorts of products to help keep them warm but nothing has worked until now. I charge the hand warmer every night with a standard USB charger and the next day, I have hours of warmth. The three temperature settings are very helpful — I use the highest setting when I'm outdoors for long periods of time and the lower settings when I'm indoors (e.g. sitting at my desk or in a cold movie theater). I've already given hand warmers as gifts to several cold-handed friends and family members and they're loving it as well. I hope Ocoopa comes out with a foot warmer next!" —Riva Kupritz

Get it from Amazon for $27.99+ (available in 10 colors).

4. A UV-free compact light therapy lamp that you can perch on your desk, by your window, or anywhere you please to give you that feel-good sunshine goodness even during the darkest days of winter and daylight savings. BTW, pets reap the benefits of this, too — reviewers' pets plant themselves in front of the lamp to hang and sleep!

Promising reviews: "Effective and convenient. I bought this for myself about a year ago to counteract winter blues. It has been so helpful that I bought another one as gift for my sister-in-law. I'd recommend this for anybody who gets Seasonal Affective Disorder." —David McClure

"So we jokingly got this item for our dog who we've noticed becomes a bit sluggish and generally withdrawn in winter months...and she actually loved it! When normally she would be in her room in the dark alone by choice, she is much more willing to come out if we switch the lamp on and out it on the coffee table pointing at her spot on the couch. She is more engaged and active as well. I actually really liked it too and can see how many humans can really benefit from it." —Regina

Get it from Amazon for $29.99.

5. A pair of fleece-lined joggers whose insides are seriously as soft as a blanket. They are so comfy, they may be your friend group's Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants moment — which still counts if you all own pairs of your own!

Promising review: "10000000/5 stars!!!!!! I just shoveled our driveway for an hour in 2-degree weather, and my legs NEVER got cold. While my hands, face, feet, and arms were cold...legs were nice and toasty. I am recommending these to everyone!!!" —jc

Get it from Amazon for $26.99+ (available in women's sizes XS–XXL and 13 colors).

6. A bottle of Drop It that'll naturally remove tannins and sulfates from your wine in a mere *20 seconds*, so you'll be free of those wine hangovers that somehow crop up after just one glass. 😭 When you're the only one in the group chat the next day without a splitting headache, everyone will want your secret.

Emma Lord/BuzzFeed

It's a lot more cost-effective and environmentally-friendly than wine wands or other competitors — a single bottle of this can be used to treat up to 55 glasses of wine, as opposed to wands that can only do a few glasses each before they get tossed. Drop It recommends 1–2 drops for each glass of white wine, 2–3 for a glass of red, and 7–9 if you're treating the whole bottle at once. Once it's in the glass, swirl lightly for 20 seconds, and you're good to go.

Promising review: "I became really sensitive to wine in my thirties and through a lot of trial and painful error, I thought I might have to give up on wine altogether. Then I found out about the preservatives being a possible cause and decided to give this product a shot. So glad I did!! I'm still pretty sensitive to reds but this helps tremendously so that I can have a glass with dinner without a headache immediately settling in. Whites cause me no problem whatsoever! I love that it takes so little product to make a difference to a whole bottle. Just a few drops, a few minutes and we are good to go." —CastawayIrons

Get it from Amazon for $14.99.

7. A jar of The Pink Stuff, a bestselling part-cleaner, part-magic potion that can clean pretty much anything you put to the test — including stains, grease, and grime on cement, tile, laminate, glass, and wood.

amazon.com, amazon.com

Promising review: "I used this product for my stove because it's one thing I dislike cleaning. I have used multiple degreaser sprays and they all are so toxic and don't work for me. The Magic Eraser was okay but I used several at a time and I had to scrub so hard. But this product oh my goodness, legit a miracle. It doesn't have any type of smell. I put the paste on a cloth, clean the area then wipe it off with a damp cloth and voilà, magic!" —May

Get it from Amazon for $5.97.

8. A water-resistant Under Armour face mask whose Iso-Chill fabric technology helps it not overheat, getting rid of one of the most uncomfy parts of mask-wearing IMO. It’s also designed to sit off your lips so you won’t get fabric in your mouth anymore (we love to see it)!!

Emma Lord/BuzzFeed

FWIW, if you're planning to exercise in a mask while traveling, this mask also has the approval of a *ton* of runners and athletes in its reviews, but also runners IRL. I (Emma) run in Central Park four days a week and I am constantly seeing other runners in this mask. I have two of them in my own run rotation, and I'm impressed not only by how well they stay in place and don't get over-sweaty and gross on long runs, but by how well they wash up and maintain their shape. The straps are super soft on your ears, too. I've gotten to used to straps chafing on longer runs that I was surprised by what a difference this made. I gifted one of these to my dad for Christmas, too, and it's his go-to for walks and errand running. It's just an overall easier mask to breathe in (while still maintaining a tight fit and keeping the people around you safe!).

Promising review: "I love this mask. It's comfortable and fits well on the sides. It's multilayer, which gives me peace of mind, but it's not hot nor does it trap my breath, making it uncomfortable when I'm working out. It washes and dries well, but just make sure you give yourself time for it to completely dry before planning to wear again...as I mentioned, it's multilayer, so it takes a little longer (to air-dry). I also wore this mask on recent plane trips that I took for the extra peace of mind. So glad I spent the money on a better-made mask. I'm thinking of ordering another one." —Kristi S.

Type Of Fit: Around-the-ear loops

Pocket For Filter: No

Fabric Type: Iso-Chill fabric

Shipping Time: Standard shipping

Get it from Amazon for $13.49+ (available in five sizes and 10 colors; for reference, Emma is wearing the Small-Medium above).

9. Plus streak-free anti-fog spray to prevent your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and face shields from fogging up while you're masking (or while you're just plain cold). It also works on swim goggles and motorcycle helmets!

amazon.com

This spray is meant for non-antireflective-coated lenses, and the instructions for use are very specific. To apply, spray a small amount on both sides of your lenses, and use your fingers to rub it across the whole area. Let it sit for a full minute, then wipe with a dry, soft cloth. Once they're fully dry, you will be good to go.

Promising review: "I am absolutely amazed by this spray! I use it on my lenses before I go out shopping for the day, and I make it through several stores without my lenses fogging up at all. I really didn’t believe it was going to work, but it does. But it is important to note that this is for lenses that do NOT have anti-reflective coating. We tried it on my mom’s glasses and hers did still fog up some, because she does have anti-reflective coating on her lenses. My dad’s lenses do not have anti-reflective coating and it worked on his like it does on mine. It just baffles me that I didn’t know this existed and have been struggling with fogged up lenses despite trying several different types of masks, for these past few months. I’m telling you, you will be happy with this spray. Just make sure that you know if your lenses have anti-reflective coating or not." —daUPhere

Get it from Amazon for $7.95+ (available in three sizes).

10. A set of wireless Bluetooth earbuds because a good AirPods dupe is ALWAYS worth celebrating LOL, and over 219,000 5-star raters agree. Since they're wireless, they also won’t get tangled up with your mask! These are about to be a huge life upgrade.

amazon.com

They come with a wireless charging case that provides up to 14 hours of charge (with the earbuds able to play for four-plus hours with each full charge). The earbuds also have a built-in mic so you can talk on the phone.

Promising review: "The earbuds worked seamlessly and well out of the box. I use them while hiking the hills with my dogs and when working at my desk – I can still hear outside noises when needed for safety, but can listen to music without disturbing others. The earbuds are comfortable even during exercise, and they fit securely. Using the earbuds as a headset with my cellphone is easy as well. I do have to experiment with how they handle the Google Assistant. The audio quality is at least stereo hi-fi, and the earbuds paired easily with both my phone and laptop. Wireless charging and having a large backup power source for the phone are terrific features." —Jawpar

Get it from Amazon $22.99+ (available in five colors).

11. A Pet House candle that masks those infamous and varied pet *smells* so darn well and ENJOYABLY that it'll soon be the only scent your friends ever smell at your apartment — and what’s more, they’ll love it, too.

amazon.com, amazon.com

Promising reviews: "These are the BEST candles for homes with dogs. We have five dogs (yup, five) ranging from a 6-lb Chihuahua to a 95-lb Lab. All are rescues and two are seniors. Senior dogs tend to be a little more stinky. These candles are amazing. Even when not lit with the lid off they make the house smell like fresh cut flowers. Light just one and the whole upstairs smells like lilacs. It’s magic. There’s no chemical scent, it really smells like fresh flowers. I’m not a fan of labels on candles, and this one peels off really easily and leaves no sticky residue. You’re left with a beautiful, clean-looking, fresh-smelling, dog-funk-eliminating, and even-burning candle." —Laurel

"I used to use candles all the time before my son was diagnosed with asthma. Since then I only buy candles made with 100% soy wax. We adopted our first family dog a few weeks ago, and even though we keep her clean, the smell in the house has changed. I LOVE this candle. I love that my son hasn’t had an asthma flare from the candle. I love that my house doesn’t smell like dog, even the day after I’ve used it. I’m planning to buy A LOT more scents from this brand." —Megan
