Meow Wolf Convergence Station in Denver, Colorado

Once upon a time, four universes collided, converging at a point in Denver, Colorado. The disaster erased the memories of the inhabitants of these universes. Memories are bought and sold on the open market, and travel is controlled by the bureaucratic Quantum Department of Transportation. This is the lore behind Denver’s most unique art installation, Meow Wolf Convergence Station.

Featuring the work of over 300 artists, the Convergence Station brings something new every time it is visited. One could, for example, spend days just exploring all the links found on a wall of QR codes, or admiring the hidden details built into each environment. They could also become an intergalactic detective and attempt to solve the mystery of the convergence disaster.

Like its counterpart in Santa Fe, the Meow Wolf Convergence Station also features a mysterious storyline that begs to be explored and solved. Purchasing a $3 microchipped bracelet near the entrance will allow you to interact with monitors throughout the station. Using evidence found throughout the installation will allow you to piece together how the multiverse came to be. Or, one could also just enjoy the wacky, unique world built by some of the most creative minds in the world.

Know Before You Go

Meow Wolf Convergence Station is open from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily, and closes at midnight on Friday and Saturday. Tickets are $45 for most visitors.
