Your skepticism is about to be put to the test.

1. Stank Stix, athletic gear inserts (they were on Shark Tank, y'all!) that absorb moisture, eliminate odors (they're also lightly scented with essential oils), and can help reduce odor-causing bacteria growth.

Amazon

And yes, Lauri did invest in this small, woman-owned biz! You can use 'em in shoes, gym bags, gloves and more — and you can simply replace the insert ($10.99 for a two-pack) every couple of months!

Promising review: "We purchased these for our son's soccer cleats that smelled like cat pee and a dead buffalo that has been eaten, puked up and eaten again and then that animal died and a buzzard ate it and then pooped it out...THEY WERE HORRIBLE!!! The ninja ShoeStix's worked GREAT!!! WILL BE BUYING MORE for our daughters dance shoes!!!" —Matthew Parker

Promising review: "These ShoeStix have been amazing. I didn't think anything could help with the awful cat urine like smell emanating from my son's soccer cleats, but these inserts have done the trick. Now if you put your nose in the shoe, yes, it will still still smell pretty bad. But they no longer make the entire house smell like cleats and I can now leave the shoes in the house or in the car and not feel the urge to puke. We also use them for my daughter's volleyball shoes and kneepads. If you've ever experienced the stench that exists once a volleyball player removes the kneepads, then you know the pain I experience multiple times a week. Just put the ShoeStix inside the kneepads and put them inside a closed plastic bag and let the Stix do their magic. Definitely worth the money." —K Terry

BuzzFeed

Promising review: "This thing is serious magic. if you’re familiar with LipSense products, you know they don’t leave your face unless you want them to. The lip color and liner especially are like spackle, which I LOVE!! They never budge!! This cloth removes ALL OF IT. From basic easy off makeup all the way up to the industrial strength should-pay-rent-on-your-face stuff — WITH JUST WATER. I was skeptical but I’m a believer. scrubbing is NOT abrasive, and I’m no longer using harsh products to remove my face!!" —Amber Liz

3. A dozen Bottle Bright tablets that'll deep clean your thermoses and on-the-go bottles — no scrubbing required. These'll get into all those hard-to-reach spaces and remove *all* the gunk.

Promising review: "My kids tend to take drinks to their rooms and leave them there for days (weeks) until I come across them. When it's something like a smoothie that has been sitting in the reusable bottles is just caked on and very difficult to get clean. I can't just pop them in the dishwasher. One of these tablets with warm water gets them looking like new again. I can't get over how clean these bottles come. We have bottles and jugs of all different sizes since my kids play sports and we are away at tournaments frequently. These are a convenient way to make sure all our containers are clean and ready to go. I would certainly recommend there if your family uses bottles frequently." —NewHopeBuyer

We've never been able to maintain his nails due to his super reactive anxiety around nail care. That's all changed since we got the Scratch Pad a few weeks ago! He took to it right away and his nails have shown significant improvement in just a few sessions!" —Kira Armajani

BuzzFeed, Amazon

Promising review: "Years ago a massage therapist I went to used a cream at my temples that helped greatly with headaches & nausea. I have tried to find that scent for years. THIS IS IT!! I use it daily on my temples & the back of neck just below my hairline. It helps 100% with the nausea I suffer from meds I take. Many of my headaches I can prevent from going to a migraine by applying again at start of headache. I take so many meds because of autoimmune disease's that I like not having to pop another pill for my headaches. I am the most skeptical person you will find when it comes to homeopathic or oils etc., but this works!!" —DVS

Just twist the bottom, and paint onto your teeth. Each pen has 20 uses, and you can see how much you've used through the handy transparent tube!

Promising review: "I have used so many products before and this is the best so far! I even got a whitening kit from my dentist which is supposed to be very effective but it only burned my gums and the whitening wasn’t as fast as this product. I bought this just because it was not expensive and had good reviews but didn’t have any hopes it would work because it was a lot more affordable than the Dr’s kit that cost me hundreds of dollars. It is very easy to use. It actually works even after first application. It doesn’t burn gums. It doesn’t make your teeth sensitive." —Melinda

8. A wine-aerating spout that'll help your three-buck chuck breathe and open up, helping the individual flavors and ~nuances~ of the wine be more apparent — even to beginner wine palates.

Amazon

Promising review: "I am not a wine specialist, but I know what I like and buy very good wine at very reasonable prices. I did a taste test to see if I could notice a difference. Sipped some wine out of the bottle left to breathe for a couple of minutes; then some wine poured through the aerator and sipped immediately. The difference is VERY NOTABLE, even to my untrained palate. The wine tasted fresher, smoother, less harsh and more flavorful! I no longer drink reds without using these. And if I forget, I pour the wine back in the bottle and attach the aerator. Another nice feature? There are no wine drops coming down the side of the aerator, so no more risk of dripping onto a tablecloth or a shirt." —J. Long

amazon.com

Promising review: "Had an old ottoman that the leather was just so dried out. Thought about just tossing it but then I researched leather restoring products this was listed as one of the best. As you can see from the photos, the transformation from dried, discolored leather to what is as close to the original luster that was made with just one application is pretty remarkable. And the feel of the leather is soft and supple. No sticky feeling at all. Very satisfied with the results." —Bonnie

14. A pair of leakproof trunks with a floating absorbent gusset (with space for pad wings!) to keep you dry and comfortable, whether you're using them as backup protection or full coverage.

TomboyX

Promising review: "BEST PURCHASE I'VE EVER MADE, PROBABLY. I bought this underwear the day it was released. I don't usually buy anything off clearance, but I made an exception for period-proof underwear that isn't panties/briefs. I figured these would be worth $30 apiece for being a shape that won't set off my brain's gender alarms. These are so much nicer even than just that. I no longer get pad wedgies. My reusable fabric pads no longer slide around randomly (the floating gusset holds everything in place nicely). The gusset doesn't get twisted, doesn't chafe, nothing like that. Everything stays exactly where I need it to be, even when I'm asleep. The only downside -- the fabric is a little thinner than I expected. I'd only ordered bras from TomboyX before, so I didn't realize how lightweight the underwear is. It's comfortable and it's fully opaque, so it's not really an issue, just an observation. Time will tell how these hold up to repeated wearing, washing, stain removing, etc., but I have high hopes since the overall design is really effective" —E.

Get them from TomboyX for $32 (available in sizes 3XS–6X and five colors).
