The main threats you should be expecting from the storm right now appear to be damaging winds, hail, heavy rain, frequent lightning and even the potential for tornadoes. This coming storm is expected to cross into parts of west Georgia from 7 to 9 a.m. today morning. The storm would then approach metro Atlanta between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. The storms would then cross east of Atlanta after lunch.

A secondary line could then cause trouble later in the afternoon and into the evening, though it's not considered a major threat for severe weather.
