An African-American man Rayshard Brooks has been shots and killed by Atlanta Police outside a fast-food restaurant in America.

Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms of Atlanta announced on Saturday that the city’s police chief had resigned after Rayshard Brooks was killed.

Why was Rayshard Brooks shot?

Police received a call on Friday night that a man sleeping in a vehicle at Wendy’s drive-thru, when the police arrived and tests the 27-year-old Rayshard Brooks, he ran away from the police after failing a sobriety test and grabbing a Taser from an officer during a struggle with him. Brooks Rayshard had fired the Taser toward the police officer, who was chasing him before he was killed, Ms. Bottoms said.
