It was in August that they had opened. I was the fortunate one to savor some of their best! I kept saying to myself I must write about them. I have had milkshakes elsewhere, however, this was the best I had ever tasted. The Chocolate Factory it is!

10th August 2021: VELVETY, CHILLED, RICH, AND SINFUL.- The Chocolate Factory brings to you Decadent Cake Shakes. Yes, you read that right. Cake in a shake!

This idea was conceived when the founders were tired of the quality of shakes being served in the city. Watered down, lacking in flavour, and overpriced, the founders knew they could offer something to the people of Pune that would be appreciated and worth what they were paying for. After spending a significant amount of time and resources conducting research in the market and experimenting in the kitchen, it led to the creation of the perfect milkshake, or rather, Cake Shake. They use a specially prepared and freshly baked cake in addition to also using gelato instead of ice cream and other premium ingredients to create an irresistible, thick, and creamy concoction that cannot be replicated.

The brand offers 8 exciting and indulgent flavors such as Belgian Chocolate, Oreo Dark Chocolate, Hazelnut Chocolate, Molten Peanut Butter Cake Shake, and also caffeine versions of their bestsellers to cater to the coffee lovers out there, those being – Mocha Belgian and Mocha Hazelnut Cake Shake. They recently launched a fascinating variation of the childhood classic biscuit, hide and seek called Hide & Seek Truffle Shake along with the caffeine version called Mocha Hide & Seek Truffle.

The shakes come in 3 different sizes- 250 ml, 350 ml, and 450 ml and are priced at Rs.200, Rs.300, and Rs.400 respectively. The brand believes that patrons should be rewarded for their loyalty and have incredible discounts up to Rs.250 on group purchases, and also a tier-based loyalty program that automatically gives you more discounts the more shakes you consume.
