Known worldwide, and pan India for his music compositions, his singing, and his expertise in playing several musical instruments, A. R. Rahman will be seen in Pune performing live at Mahalaxmi Lawn on the 22nd of February 2020. A. R. Rahman will be singing his compositions and songs sung by him from Bollywood and the South, enthralling the audience throughout the 2 hours 40 minutes performance.
Vonamor Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. and Excelencia Events, Hospitality & Entertainment have been working for the past one year to bring to Pune a musical saga “One Heart Tour – AR Rahman Live”. This is part of the multicity India tour of 2020. The tour will be taken to other cities such as Coimbatore and Hyderabad. A.R. Rahman has also decided on a fine line up of versatile & dynamic artists such as Neeti Mohan, Jonita Gandhi, Haricharan, Aditya Narayan and Ranjit Barot who will sing intermittently during the concert.
It was in the early 90’s that A. R. Rahman shot to fame with his songs in Roja and Bombay, in Tamil which were then translated in Hindi. With blockbusters such as Rangeela & Dil Se…, A.R. Rahman had become a household name across the country. A. R. Rahman is known for integrating classical music with electronic music, world music and traditional orchestral arrangements.
Isai Puyal or the musical storm, the Mozart of Madras, A. R. Rahman is called by these names.
AR Rahman has won two Oscars, two Grammys, six National Film Awards, a Golden Globe, a BAFTA, fifteen Filmfare Awards and seventeen Filmfare Awards South. He had also received the Padma Bhushan, India’s third highest civilian award in 2010.
