Asian zodiac: Astrologer shares each sign’s main characteristic

The Asian zodiac, sometimes called the Chinese Zodiac, is represented by 12 different animals all with different characteristics which make them unique. Astrologer Jessica Adams divulged what kinds of people Rabbit, Dragon and Snake are, revealing each of their core characteristics.

Rabbit (1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999, 2011, 2023)

According to Asian astrology, 2023 is the Year of the Rabbit.

Rabbit – also know by some Eastern astrologers as the Cat – “is one of the few zodiac animals to be directly associated with business, finance and trade”.

Jessica stated: “Goats are the only other sign in the Chinese zodiac apart from Rabbit, to be so deeply concerned with what is earned, owned or owed.”

The astrologer suggested that Rabbit – like Goat – is a very strong character with a sturdy set of morals.

She said: “Both these signs have a very strong sense of values – what they will, or will not, sell out for, or who and what they consider to be priceless.”

According to the astrologer, Rabbit’s relationship with money can be a little complex and grey.

“You might identify with pirates, charity donors or with Robin Hood types who rob from the rich to give to the poor. Money is never straightforward for you,” she explained.

Dragon (1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, 2012, 2024)

Dragon is a creative and a force to be reckoned with: “You are the dreamer, visionary and idealist who makes things real.”

There are plenty of inspiring Dragons out their whose ideas and ideologies changed the world.

Jessica observed: “John Lennon is a good example of a Dragon. When he wrote and sang the words to his biggest hit, Imagine, he described himself as a dreamer.

“Dr Martin Luther King, who famously said ‘I have a dream,’ is another Dragon.

Snake (1953, 1965, 1977, 1989, 2001, 2013, 2025)

Snake is a communicative sign and does not hold back when it comes to giving their opinion.

Jessica said: “The flickering tongue of the snake and its famous hiss (and occasional rattle) tells you the first thing you need to know about this sign. Snakes need to be heard and fully understood.”

Indeed, according to astrology, Snake is the “Communication HQ of the Asian zodiac”.

“Did you know Apple Macintosh computers got their official start in 1977, the Year of the Snake? If you are a snake then your life may revolve around the internet.”

Snakes who do not communicate via the internet must let their words flow elsewhere.

The expert advised: “Even if you reject computers you must still have a venue for your way with words – sung, written or spoken. Thus, you may be a children’s writer like snake J.K.Rowling.”

Jessica previously spoke to Express.co.uk about the core personality traits of Rat, Ox and Tiger.
