Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 With Snapdragon 636 SoC Launched in India for Rs 10,999

Asus has today launched a new mid-range smartphone dubbed as Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 in India. The smartphone comes with the price tag of Rs. 10,999 for the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant, while the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 12,999 and will be available to purchase via Flipkart starting from May 3rd. It comes in Midnight Black and Grey colour options.

Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 Launch offers

The company has partnered with Flipkart to offer Complete Mobile Protection – which covers broken screens, liquid damage, hardware and software faults, etc. – at Rs. 49 for a year. the handset will be available with no-cost EMI via credit cards and Bajaj FinServ on the first day of release. Vodafone prepaid customers will get 10GB additional data for 12 months on recharges of Rs. 199 and above. For postpaid users, Vodafone will give 10GB additional data for 12 months on Rs. 399 Red plan and additional free Red Protect access on Rs. 499 plan.

Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 Specifications

The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo (stock android) Operating system and will get Android P and Android Q upgrades. It sports a  5.99” Full HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) 18:9 FullView IPS display with 1500:1 contrast ratio, 85% NTSC color gamut and 450 nits brightness. The smartphone is powered by a 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon Snapdragon 636 octa-core processor coupled with Adreno 509 GPU. As mentioned above, it offers 4GB/ 6GB of RAM and 32GB/ 64GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 2TB via microSD card.

For photography, the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 comes equipped with a dual rear camera setup with a combination of a 13MPprimary Omnivision sensor with f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, 1.12μm pixel size, and a 5MP secondary dept sensing camera along with LED flash support. On the front, it has an 8MP selfie shooter with 85.5-degree wide-angle lens, f/2.0 aperture and softlight LED flash. The phone also supports facial recognition technology to unlock the device.

The Asus ZenFone Max M1 is fueled by a 5000mAh battery with 10W fast charging support. It can charge 100 percent of battery in 2 hrs 42 mins. The company claims that it can offer 199 hrs of music playback, 25.3 hrs of video playback at full HD resolution, 28 hrs of Wi-Fi browsing, up to 42 hrs of 3G talk time. Connectivity options include Dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, BDS, GLONASS, 3.5mm headphone jack, micro-USB port. There is also a fingerprint scanner at the back. It measures 159x76x8.61mm and weighs 180 grams.
