Manchester United and Manchester City are reportedly monitoring Fabinho’s situation at AS Monaco according to Tribal Football.

The Brazil international hinted before his French League side’s encounter against St Etienne that the game might be his last for the Parisians.

Fabinho initially joined his French Ligue 1 outfit on Loan in 2013, and two years later, the Monegasques made his deal permanent.

Prior to his loan move to France four years ago, he had spent just one season on loan also at Real Madrid, where he made just one appearance in the entire campaign.

However, the midfielder says his goal at this point is to help his current team finish well on the log, as they need a win to ensure they qualify for Champions League next term.

When put on the spot on where his future lies, the Brazil midfielder said: "Maybe [this will be my last game]…

"I have already talked about what I want to do. Sometimes I speak too much about that, and it gives the impression that that is what I am concentrated on. We have an important match that is all that matters."

Fabinho started his senior career at Rio Ave in 2012 before being sold to French side, Monaco in 2015 after three years of loan spell at Madrid and Monaco.

He made his national team debut in 2015 and he has since then been capped four times, but it is unsure if he will make the list going to the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Earlier this year, NAIJ.com reported that the 24-year-old revealed that he was open to leaving the French club this summer.

He started off as a right-back with Monaco before converting to central midfield and helping them win the Ligue 1 title in May, 2017.
