AROMATherapy – How to Relax After a Stressful Day

Ughh, so I’ve had a really long, like really long, week. Between work, my social life (Lena what social life lol) and trying to have a few October/November worthy posts ready for you guys, I barely get time for myself. That being said, I try to make sure I enjoy all the little Lena moments I can. So whether it’s working on some small pieces of my art or things as simple as having the house to my self for a moment; any sort of quiet, alone time is a great time.

At present, one of my favorite and most anticipated moments is my after-work ritual. The part I like most is….SHOWER TIME! This, my friends, is a blatant result of adulthood. Accepting that you enjoy showers way more than partying and human interactions. Okay, I know, you are probably like “why is this girl telling me about how much she loves to shower?”

But here’s why…

I am completely smitten by the  line. I’ve been using these for some time but I really love the new design and I think my favorite is the eucalyptus and spearmint scent. I don’t know what they did to make this, but you genuinely feel a sense of calmness glide over you with this fragrance combination. It’s like you have a mini spa in your bathroom helping you recollect yourself from a tiresome day. In my experience, sometimes that’s all I need to settle my thoughts along with a good book and bed time.

On a good day, particularly when I have more time, I like to pair my products (the eucalyptus & spearmint body wash and pillow mist) with a nice candle and some good music. I would use the candle from the same Aromatherapy line or  a nice Glade or Febreeze candle I have at home. The end game is simply to feel so relaxed that you leave the showering beaming. The body wash is really nice but I’ve been meaning to try either the body scrub or sugar scrub, I think either would give great results.

The best part is the really low price you pay to have your personal home spa experience and the awesome thing about Bath & Body Works is that there are always lots of sales. As think having some time to yourself should always be encouraged, so you can try my little routine and add your twist to it.
