Online Registration for Post Matric Scholarship Scheme 2018-19 for Minorities has been now started by Ministry of Minority Affairs. In this scheme, students belong to both government and private schools are included in beneficiaries list. All applicants who fit the eligibility criteria can fill Post Matric Minority Scholarship 2018 Application Form online at scholarships.gov.in. As per this central govt. scholarship, meritorious students who belong to minorities will get financial assistance.
Post-Matric Scholarship 2018 for Minorities will cover students who are pursuing higher education and only 2 children from a single family can avail the benefit. The assistance will be given with main aim to enable them to complete thier higher education. Central Govt. count Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Jains, and Zoroastrians (Parsis) as minorities.
Post Matric Scholarship 2018-19 Eligibility Criteria for Minorities
To apply online for admission fees, tuition fees and maintenance allowance under this National Scholarship for Minorities. Applicants must fit the eligibility criteria as listed below:-
- Applicant must be pursuing higher education in any govt. or private institution
- Student at least has secured 50% marks in the previous class examination.
- Applying candidate family yearly income should be less than Rs. 1 lakh per year.
The scholarship scheme focuses to decrease the financial burden on family belong to the minority and send their children to higher education institutions. Also under the Post-Matric Minority Scholarship Scheme, 30% benefits will be only for girl students.
Post Matric Scholarship Scheme Minorities Online Registration 2018
Applicants who are applying for the first time have to make fresh registration for the scholarship by following steps below.
- Open the official website of National Scholarship Portal at scholarships.gov.in.
- Now go under “Central Schemes” section and click here on “Ministry of Minorities”.
- Next click at “Apply” button of red color in-front of “Post Matric Scholarships Scheme for Minorities”.
- Now a new page will get open on your screen as image given below.
- Here you have to click on “New Student? Register Here” link.
- Next Post Matric Scholarship Scheme Online Registration page will get open at your screen as shown in the screenshot below.
- Now enter all details asked including the State of Domicile, Scholarship Category, Name, Scheme Type, Bank Details, Identification Details.
- Note: Please enter working mobile number as First Time Login Can Done After Entering OTP (ONE TIME PASSWORD) Send By NSP.
- Finally click at “Register Button” available at the end of the form.
After you registration will get over, National Scholarship Portal will get Username and ID Password at your registered mobile number.

Post Matric Minority Scholarship Application Form 2018-19
Once your registration process has been over, then you are eligible to fill online application for Post-Matric Scholarship. To complete online application follow the steps noted below.
- Click the direct link for the login page
- Enter your Username and Password received on your mobile number at the time of registration. Also, enter Captcha and click at “Login” button. Verify OTP and Change your password.
- Click at the “Apply link” on the dashboard to fill the Post Matric Scholarship 2018-19 Online Application Form.
- The form of the scholarship will look like the screenshot given below.
- Complete all the details asked in the form correctly and check twice before submission.
- After this click at “Save and Continue” button to complete the Post- Matric Scholarship Application Form Minorities 2018.
Scholarship amount will be given to the student for the entire duration of course. However, maintenance allowance will be only for 10 months.

Admission fees under Post-Matric Scholarship will be given only for one time in the year. While tuition fees will be provided for the whole duration of the session. On the other hand, Maintenance allowance will be given for 10 months under Post-Matric Scholarship minority.
