Delhi Mukhyamantri Kisan Aay Badhotri Solar Yojana: Delhi government is going to launch a scheme as “Mukhyamantri Kisan Aay Badhotri Solar Yojana” for farmers. Under this scheme, farmers will allow the pvt. companies to install free solar panel in their farmland. Farmers will be benefit under this scheme, they will be avail to get Rs. 1 lakh per acre with annual increase of 6% for the next 25 years. Moreover, after 25th years farmers will avail to get Rs. 4.04 lakh per acre as rent from the private companies.

Scheme will be helpful to bring smile on farmer’s faces and it will raise the total annual income of farmers. As well as, each farmers will avail to get 3 to 4 times of their current annual income for installation of solar panel. In another words, its main objective is promote farming activities for that govt. will also provide financial assistance.  Through this scheme, Delhi govt. will save Rs. 300 to Rs. 400 crore.

• Under this scheme, farmers who are engage in agriculture activities, can allow the private companies to install solar panels in their land.
• Only 1-3 of total farmland area will be given to companies  for installation.
• For that, companies will give Rs. 1 lakh per acre as rent with 6% increase p.a for 25 year.
• After completed 25 years , a huge amount Rs. 4.04 lakh / acre will be given to farmers by companies.
• As per find information, 3.5 meter above area from the surface level is required to install Solar Panels.
• In addition, Govt, would provide 1,000 units of free electricity for farmers.
• Accordingly, official website 1 MW solar power plants  requires six acres of farmland which will produce approx. 13 lakh units of electricity per year.
• Earning amount will given after 8 to 9 months of installation for farmers.
