Three Vital Things To Check On Every Food Label Before Eating

Before eating any kind of food one should check these three vital things on every food label because they are very important to our health:

1. Serving size:  on every Label there is information which is based on one serving. If for example a serving size is five cookies the nutritional information given on the label is for five cookies, not for the entire bag. So take one serving (five cookies) and keep away the remaining.

2. Calories: This is the unit of energy contained in a Food. Most food labels base their percentages on a 2000 calorie a day diet. They appear on food label as “% of Daily Value” which means the daily percentage of that food component someone needed to maintain good health. Therefore if you have less mobility then you need to conserve less calories per day and you need less amount of calories to meet you need.

3. Fat: fat from animals mostly red meat, poultry, full-fat dairy products and fats which are produced through a process called partial hydrogenation example beef fat and butter are called Bad Fats, you should try to stay away from them. While fats that are liquid at room temperature example fats from olive, avocados and peanuts are called good fats they are good for the body.
