Education
The key to success
All my life I was told "education is the key to success" well this motivated me to put in more work in all the things I did. Primary School .. Top of my class hell I wanted to be a doctor 😊 I believed working hard will get me closer to my dreams. Secondary school, worked even more harder to strive for a better tomorrow, education is the key to success I was told. Went to university and did hard earned 4 year degree. I'm not saying that I've given up on applying and trying to make it, no no no I'm going to keep striving until I see education for the key to success it's said it is.
Yes, education is the key to success. The qualification you hold will one day open doors for you. But when? Exactly when is this supposed to happen? Just after graduation? Six months after graduation? Three years after? Oh well we will never know will we? Now how do you convince the upcoming generation that education is the key to success when we are surrounded by poor graduates and rich criminals? It has become impossible to convince our Brothers and Sisters To see education as the key to a better their lives because here we are, qualifications bagged but job opportunities nada.
"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." Nelson Mandela said.
I hope it is true because right now I feel I went to school and didn't yield anything.
I'm not saying don't go to school who knows? Our luck may not be the same.
My statements may be contradicting.. Is education a key to success? Yes? No? Maybe? I don't know. But it's better to have qualifications than nothing. Go to school and acquire knowledge.
I didn't follow the medicine route, I rather followed a passion I always had, AGRICULTURE. I even have a mini garden. But I'm still a poor unemployed graduate.
Salute.
