11 Sisters Give Dating Advice To Their Brothers

I might not have to protect my Brother from women who stare at his sexy yet ugly legs or pass comments like ‘kadak lag rha hai’ because women don’t do that. Well, I certainly do help my brother, the moment a mongrel barks at him and he freezes as if the poor dog is going to eat him anytime!
But do you know when do brothers need our help the most? When they are in a relationship or hoping that their crush doesn’t friendzone them. I mean, your job as a sister is almost done if you help your brother understand the complex, strong funny and BEAUTIFUL character that women are.
Since only a woman knows what she wants and no, we don’t want everything. We want a little more than that. Kidding! I asked my cousins, friends, sisters of friends and of course myself for one dating advice they would like to give to their brothers. No, no, it’s not just for boys who are in a relationship, but for those who are waiting to say, ‘I am confused. What does my girlfriend want?’ Well, I am sure these points will help and you will be able to understand your girl a lot better!
1) “If you don’t like the way she dresses, go shopping with her!”- Rupali,25
2) “Most women have unrealistic expectations and I know that isn’t very kind but once in a while, you can fulfill the realistic ones. Buy her favourite flowers, add a little note with it. Trust me, it is enough to melt her heart.” – Falak, 21
3) “Women are moody. Very moody. Moody even when they are not PMSing. That’s way God designed us. So, keep calm when she shouts for no reason. Also, Bhook swings exist, offering food might not be a bad option. Try it!”- Shivani, 29
4) “Please remember that women are a lot more sensitive than men and feel differently about things than you do. So, once in a while try being sensitive towards her feelings.”- Priyanka, 27
5) “We need your time. We really do. No, don’t talk to us 24*7, as we are busy in our own lives. But when you don’t talk to us properly for a few days, it bothers us and unfortunately, we forget all those four-hours long conversations we had. So, even if you don’t have the time to wash your face, you have to, have to take out time to talk to your girlfriend/wife because her mind will start travelling in a different direction and it won’t be nice.”- Prerna, 22
6) “By pampering her too much in the beginning of the relationship, you build expectations. So, either don’t overdo it, or go a notch higher than the last time.”- Sonali, 23
7) ''There is never a right time or place to find the right person but when you do, you have to hold onto the person. Not everything will be rosy, there will be thorns but when your love triumphs those thorns know that you've found your soulmate.''- Tanya, 22
8) “Make-up or no make-up, figure hugging outfits or triple XL shirts, facial hair or no facial hair, long hair or a bob, there is no definition of a woman’s beauty or  femininity. It’s all an illusion, so don’t call her a boy if she loves sports as much as you do or laughs like no one is watching.”- Disha, 25
9) No, you don’t have to know the difference between carnation Pink, hot pink, magenta pink or bubble gum pink. You just need to which is our favourite pink. Oh wait! All women don’t like Pink!''- Prachi, 19
10) “Hello Brother! Please, be clear about your intentions. Women appreciate that. Basically, treat her like you would want someone to treat me.”- Aakriti, 17
11) “Don’t get too friendly or involve yourself in her girly talks because once you do, chances she might friendzone you are pretty damn high. And then you’ll walk into my room and ask me, ‘Kya kami hai bhai mai? Why does she friendzone?” - Kanika, 24
