Humankind is so emotional. We always want to change our past, present or future to get emotional satisfaction. But is it really possible to change any of the tenses?? I want to keep my point which is logical to me its perception and has really no scientific base.
When I was thinking about Time Travel ask myself a simple question, what is the tense of the time traveller, and I found an answer so fast that the only possible tense is present. Though the traveller is travelling through different time periods he is living in his present! so one thing is very clear wherever he will go that will be present...
This idea brought me to another theory,
So there are parallel timelines can exist. Which means there are infinite present tenses or today or now are going on which can be the past or the future. And traveller travels to another present. Whatever changes will happen that will change the future of that timeline or the timeline coming after that. And here we have our first answer,
"we can not change the past!" but "we can change the future of the past!".
Example,
If you are sick and hospitalize in the present then the past is preventive treatment and future is curative treatment. If you get a chance to travel with time, you can not go to the past of your but you will end up in the present of your past.
In above example, we can clearly say traveller can travel to the previous date or future date but not in his past or future of his own though the all time lines are of traveller's.
So what can we change then??
We can change the future of any other timeline and subsequent timelines of the interrupted timeline. means you are diverging the timeline from the own path.
But you really think you have changed the past??
No, You have not! You have changed the future of another timeline, but your own timeline has never changed and it will not.
Conclusion:
The time travel is not travelling to past or future, It is the perpendicular travel to the normal timeline either positive or negative direction that is the present of another timeline.And hence traveller can go and change the future but the future of another timeline because traveller's timeline has proceeded already.
