2018 Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350X – Price
The 2018 Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350X is priced at Rs. 1.56 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) while the 2018 Royal Enfield Thunderbird 500X comes at a price of Rs. 1.96 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). These prices are just around Rs. 8,000 more than their older versions. The Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350X is targeted at mature buyers while the Thunderbird 500X is aiming the fun and thrill filled up younger generations.
2018 Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350X – Specifications
The engine remains the same as the older version of the bike. It comes with 346cc, single cylinder engine that delivers out 19.8 Bhp power and 28 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated with 5-speed manual gearbox.
2018 Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350X – Other Features
The new bike comes with disc brakes at the front wheel as well as the rear. The ABS has been given a miss by the company. The new bike features a wider handle-bar, alloy wheel, tubeless tyres, single piece seat and new grab rails. Other new features include LED day time running lights (DRLs) and LED tail-lights.
The new Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350X bike is available in Whimsical White, Drifter Blue, Roving Red, and Gateway Orange colors. The new color coordination scheme gives a peppy and sporty look as apart from the fuel tank; all other parts are painted black.
Should You Buy?
The Royal Enfield bikes stand out class apart and have its own segment of buyers in the market place. Royal Enfield bikes are the hot selling cakes in India. Though the 2018 Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350X bike remains the same mechanically from its older version, the new features are bound to attract more buyers. One has to just spare around Rs. 8,000 more than the older model to acquire the new bike.
