Mercedes-Benz’s Indian subsidiary, the well known Stuttgart-based German performance and luxury car marque, has now come up with the ‘Edition C’ of it’s latest generation C Class sedan. The manufacturer had earlier sold a similar special edition of it’s last generation C Class. The brand new 2017 Mercedes C Class Edition C now comes with several new exterior and interior features which make it a much more attractive option. The prices of the Edition C range start at Rs 42.54 lakh. The 2017 Mercedes C Class Edition C is available in three engine options – , C220 d Diesel ,C 250 d Diesel and C200 Petrol. There have been no changes made to the specifications of any of these three engine variants.

2017 Mercedes C Class Edition C India- Price

As mentioned earlier, the prices of the new Edition C range start at Rs 42.54 lakh. The prices go all the way to Rs 46.87 lakh. This makes the new special variant approximately Rs 2.5 lakh more expensive than the regular trims. That said, the price increase is very well justified by the additional features as well as the new design Hyacinth red paint option.

2017 Mercedes C Class Edition C India- Features

The new 2017 Mercedes C Class Edition C comes with some superb new features for both the exterior as well as the  interior. The C-Class sedan becomes an even more attractive option with these features. The features are mentioned below.

2017 Mercedes C Class Edition C India- Specifications

As we mentioned earlier, the new 2017 Mercedes C Class Edition C is available in all three engine variants i.e the  C220 d Diesel, C250 d Diesel and C200 Petrol. The 2.0-litre petrol engine is a four-cylinder unit. The engine  pumps out a maximum power of 184 BHP and a peak torque of 300 Nm. The C220 d and C250 d are four-cylinder,  2.2-litre Turbo Diesel engines which are basically the same engine but in a different state of tuning for each oil burner. As far as the C220 d ‘s engine is concerned, it outputs a maximum power of 170 BHP and a peak torque of 400 Nm. But for the C250 d, the engine has been retuned to produce a peak power of 204 BHP along with a peak torque of 500 Nm. All the three engines come mated to a 9G-TRONIC automatic gearbox.
