American company eBay bought 5.59% shares in PayTm Mall

E-commerce company eBay has bought 5.59% stake in Paytm Mall for $ 16 million (Rs 1,101 crore). This information was given in regulatory filing by Paytm E-Commerce, the parent company of Paytm Mall.

Paytm Mall has so far borrowed $ 805 million (Rs 5539 crore) funding in three rounds. Alibaba owns 30.15% stake in Paytm Mall of Singapore-based company. After eBay’s investment, SoftBank’s shareholding will be 21%.

Rudra Dalmiya, executive director of Paytm Mall, says that we are proud of disciplined investors like eBay and Alibaba who have been concentrating on profits continuously for many years. His direction and cooperation are important to us.
