My Experience in Key Club
I joined Key Club 2 years ago when my friend pressured me to join. I was exceedingly hesitant to join Key Club however I was reminded that colleges look for students with extracurricular activities thus, I joined Key Club. My first year in Key Club I was not as active I never participated in any event that Key Club hosted. When the next school year started I did not wanted to join however I had already promised my friend I would join the next year. I began the journey again, this school year my friends and I were determined to be active (mostly to participate in DCON*). We participated in all of Key Club events the more events I took part in the more I fell in love with Key Club. My friends and I felt we were making a difference in our community. During, the next few months all we wanted to do was to keep helping our community through Key Club. As the days got closer to DCON all the members that were going to DCON got closer as a family. I remembered back to the first Key Club meeting I attend, when they mentioned the word "family", we were truly a family we got exceedingly close through Key Club. I met new friends in my school who I would have never thought of being friends with. Key Club has opened new opportunities for me. What I hope you get from is that Key Club has been a great experience for me. I know Key Club holds many more opportunities for me in the future hopefully for you too (maybe?).
