PHP | strlen() Function

The PHP strlen() function is used to get the length of a string.

syntax

Following below is the syntax to use this function -

int strlen ( string $string )

READ: PHP | stristr() Function

Return Value

This function returns the length of a string on success or 0 if the string is empty.

Example

Try out the example below -

= 'kennedy';

echo strlen
($input);
?>

Output

When the above code is executed, it will produce the following result -
