PHP | Ds\Queue::allocate() Function



Hello folks! welcome back to a new edition of our tutorial on PHP. In this tutorial guide, we are going to be studying about the PHP Ds\Queue::allocate() Function.

The built-in Ds\Queue::allocate() function in PHP is used to allocate enough memory for a required capacity.

The Ds\Queue::allocate() function ensures that enough memory can be allocated out for the required capacity. It can remove the need to reallocate an internal as values are added.

Syntax

Following below is the syntax to use this function -

public void Ds\Queue::allocate( int $capacity )

Return Value

This built-in PHP function does not return any value.

$queue
= new \Ds\Queue();

echo
("The allocated space is:");
var_dump
($queue->capacity());

->allocate(100);
