HOW TO DEAL WITH DEPRESSION WHEN YOU ARE AN INTROVERT.

After the death of “Sushant Singh Rajput” everyone has been posting on social media telling others that they can talk to them anytime. People are trying to create a safe place to talk for people having Mental Health issues which I appreciate. But what if talking triggers that person or he/she doesn’t like that much stimulation around them and hates it when people asks them “what’s wrong”, “what’s wrong”?

Weird? Actually not.

Most of the introverts when facing a mental health issue becomes irritated when asked over and over again what’s wrong with them. Not just introverts, but everyone has their own coping mechanism, own ways of dealing with life. For some it’s really hard to open up to others about their miseries and insecurities. But does that mean they will never be able to come out of it? not really!

Talking helps, but it is not the only thing that helps!

Some people don’t have that kind of people who understand what depression really is and that depression is “real”. They are unfortunately surrounded by people who laugh on their troubles, or maybe they have trust issues because whenever they shared something people used it against them.

So what should one do in order to heal himself?

First of all, understand that life is an illusion, reality is just what you makes it. If you keep thinking you are the best and you start living your life in an illusion that you are the best, it will become your reality. and if you keep living in vain, your reality will become like it. Awakening is not using your mind all the time, but to know when not to use it .Whenever you find yourself drowning in self hate and worthlessness, just snap out of that illusion. If you overthink and your mind makes up problems which doesn’t even exist. train your mind to not think about it for 10 minutes, then 1 hours, then a day and keep creating new memories. when we create new memories, it kinda overwrites the old ones.

But if you really have a problem and you don’t feel safe sharing anything, but what matters is that you let out all the negativity. Paint, write or build a business out of it, doesn’t matter..just let it all out. Journal everything in detail so that it gives you clarity. Repeat positive affirmations. Be grateful to be alive. and look forward to living and remember sometimes bad things happen to us because of our past live karma. It’s okay, just learn and move on, whatever happens, happens for good.

It’s not easy and it’s a process. It takes years, and sometimes it knocks on your again, but ultimately you learn to say no that uninvited guest.
