Actor-cum-model Milind Soman and his long-time girlfriend and model Ankita Konwar got married at a private ceremony with just family and close friends present in Alibaug on April 22.

After four years of dating relationship, actor and model Milind Soman (52) and Ankita Konwar (27) finally decided to take a plunge and get hitched. The wedding was held in a low-key private ceremony at Alibaug on Sunday, April 22, 2018 and fans were able to peek into the wedding through a number of pictures and videos posted online. The pre-wedding celebrations, comprising a mehendi, a haldi ceremony and a sangeet were earlier held in Alibaug, on Saturday. While the main wedding ceremony was held in traditional style on Sunday.

For the sangeet night, Ankita adored herself in a red saree and minimal jewellery while Milind was a red saree and minimal jewellery. For the wedding day, the bride and groom were colour coordinated in white traditional attire. Milind opted for a white kurta and dhoti and Ankita looked charming in her bridal avatar wearing an off-white saree with golden shiny border combined with minimal makeup and dainty jewellery. Known as the ironman of India, Milind was previously married to Mylene Jampanoi in 2006 – the actress of film Valley of Flowers, but the two got divorced in 2009. Strangely enough, soon after the wedding, actress Ankita Lokhande became trending, supposedly due to the same name.
