You can build anything, Build differently.

In today’s constantly evolving and never stopping world, It’s truly the time to be alive. I know most of my posts on here are just showing my writing and what I’m working on but, I’m going to start making daily posts about anything and everything. Today, I want to branch out and share with you my thoughts on how to tackle your goals, fear first and head on. 10 months ago I was living in a small east Coast town located in central Pennsylvania. I packed into a van with 3 friends and just said, fuck it and traveled across the country to here in Lynnwood, Washington (10-15 miles from Seattle). Since settling down here and adjusting to life on the west coast, I’ve realized some major differences. The east is definitely built on tradition and history, which is a beautiful foundation. We value consistency and logical boundaries, sticking to what’s been working. Why fix something that isn’t broken, right? WRONG. Look, I appreciate the east coast and where I come from but, the west coast is completely different and challenging in life’s most sincere and beautiful way.

People travel here from all over for similar passions. Transplant, that’s what I’m classified as out here. It’s safe to say that at least half of the people living on this side of the country aren’t from here originally. There’s a reason you chase a feeling coast to coast, that never dying fire in your chest, following that into uncertainty. That’s appealing to me. The west coast dream is alive and thriving. They burn traditional to the ground out here and are always remodeling ideas. No issue throwing away things that make sense, for the things that only make sense in your head. Be different. Seriously, I know It’s said all the time and posted on every social media platform but, It’s true. It’s not for everyone, I’m aware of that. There’s nothing wrong with following a path that is safe and will get you to an end goal and as long as you’re happy, who the hell cares. For the people, Like me, who realize they don’t want to follow steps of someone else, work for the ideas and dreams of someone else, just born with a vision of different. I moved here to start over. Press the reset button on my life. Igniting this huge spark of wanting to succeed by my own definition. I don’t want traditional. I want something nobody is doing. I want to witness creativity and passion take over my world. I want to build a brand and a name bigger than myself, to inspire others. Fear is only a feeling. It’s almost 2018, you can do and build absolutely anything you want. I don’t have a detailed plan and that’s perfectly okay. That allows me to not have blinders and see every opportunity my heart shows me. With all of this being said, I have a new project coming out on Friday called, Life as i know it.

It’s an extremely personal body of work highlighting my life at the moment and this whole year together as a whole. I wasn’t sure what to really call or classify this project as and only comparison I can think of is this. In music, artists release albums which I’ll compare to a novel for a writer. There’s also EP’s which are just a small compilation for what they’ve been working on and a taste of what’s to come and that’s essentially what I have here. A few pieces of work that coexist in each other and communicate one similar message. I really fell in love with what I was writing right now and decided to make something I haven’t before with it. It’s a small taste of what you’ll get with my book that I’ve been working on, Those Days, being released in the coming months. Again, Thank You! And be on the lookout Friday, for the new project.
