Barcelona right-back Douglas will spend the rest of the season on Loan at Portuguese giants Benfica, Barca announced on Thursday.

The 27-year-old Brazilian has made just eight appearances for the Catalans since joining from Sao Paulo in 2014 and spent last season also on loan at Sporting Gijon.

Douglas will help replace Nelson Semedo, who joined Barca from Benfica for a reported fee of 30 million euros in July.
