According to reports, Johnbull Owenaze, the Notorious Youth chairman in Iguomon community in Edo state has been arrested by operatives of the IGP response team. He was declared wanted for some months after the arrest of five of his boys and partners in crime who reportedly made incriminating and implicating statements to the police indicting him of being their chief sponsor for all their heinous crimes including murder, rape, robbery, kidnapping, extortion among other things.

They were remanded in Oko prison in Edo state before an order came in from the inspector general of police requesting that they should be taken to Abuja for further investigations.

Last year, the Edo State Private Property Protection Taskforce arrested Mr Johnbull Agbonsomwan of Iguomon Community in Uhunmwode Local Government Area of the state, and handed him over to the Police over his son’s involvement in illegal sales of land.

It was reported that Agbonsomwan will be released when his son, Mr Owenaze Johnbull, who was on the run, is apprehended.
