Benefits of Bio-Oil

Hello my lovelies

Welcome to my beauty blog once again.

A few months back I got my hands on the very famous Bio Oil. You all must have heard about it. It is well known for aging skin and stretch marks. I have been using it as a skin care oil for quite a long time. Bio-Oil has won 369 skincare awards and become the No. 1 selling scar and stretch mark product in 18 countries since its global rollout began in 2002.

Uses of Bio Oil

It is a specialist skincare oil for scars, stretch marks, uneven skin tone, aging skin and dehydrated skin.

* If you have dry and dehydrated skin, just apply few drops of Bio-Oil twice daily. It will nourish the chapped skin and help get rid of itchiness caused by dryness.
This oil can be used all over the body and is completely safe to use.
I used it as a body moisturizer in winters and it helped combat my dryness and kept my skin nourished. The best part about this oil is that it is not sticky at all and it absorbs into the skin really fast.

Who doesn't love natural dewy and glowing skin? Wonder how to get perfect radiance with makeup??
Bio-Oil is the solution. You can use it as a primer if you have dry skin. And if you have normal to combination skin, just add 1-2 drops of Bio-Oil in your foundation and apply it on to your skin.
You will love the results. It doesn't break out skin and is non-comedogenic (doesn't clog pores).
It instantly adds a natural sheen to your face. Just wait for 1-2 minutes to let it absorb and then continue with the foundation and all.

* Use it as a night oil after cleansing and toning. It doesn't feel heavy and you are gonna feel the difference the next morning.

* Now talking about scars, one of my friends bleached her face at home and eventually burned her face because of the high amount of activator. Her skin was flaky and dry. I suggested her to use Bio-Oil every morning and night. Within a week she noticed a huge difference and the scars were fading away. She is a regular user of Bio Oil and swears by it.

* I haven't used it for stretch marks as I am not a mother yet and don't have any stretch marks. But I have heard mixed reviews regarding the fading of stretch marks. It definitely reduces the appearance of stretch marks but doesn't help them go away. Well, I can't say much about this particular point.
Although it is loved by some of the expecting mothers as it helped them reduce the dryness and itchiness around the belly during the second and third trimester.

* You can even use it as a cuticle softener.

* Use it as a hair oil for an oil-free feeling head massage. It helps to soothe dry irritating scalp.

So this is what I have experienced with Bio Oil till now. I love to apply it around winters onto my face and whole body. I love Bio-Oil because it is non-sticky and smells good (mild). I would recommend Bio-Oil for people with dry flaky skin as a moisturizer and as a primer to achieve that perfect dewy look.
