My experience with Braun's Silk-Epil 5-511 wet and dry cordless Epilator
The box contains:
- Epilator
- One attachment
- One tiny brush
- Charger
There are epilators that come with many attachments, but this one comes with single 28 tweezers attachment which is really great for beginners.
The epilator has one button. It runs at a low and high speed which is operated by the same button.
The best part about the epilator is that it is chargeable. No batteries are required. It runs for 2 hours once fully charged. It is a one-time investment.
HOW TO USE
It is suggested to hold the epilator at less than 90 degrees angle and move it against the direction of hair growth.
As a beginner, I was little skeptical to use it as it is said to be painful in the beginning.
I first tried it dry on my arms and yeah I did feel discomfort for the very first time. It actually removes hair from the roots and that too with 28 tweezers working at once. It is obvious that it is gonna hurt a little.
When I used it next time, I used it in the shower with shower gel on and VOILA! It was less painful and easy to use it wet. So, that is how I discovered my comfort with epilation.
Then I knew that it will work best in the shower for me.
After epilation, use a light moisturizer to ease off the epilation that body goes through.

AH! I am super happy that I have switched to epilation. Because it works perfectly fine to get rid of unwanted hair off my body. It even helps to remove the tiniest hair that waxing can't remove.
