Several major steps are being taken in Sushant Singh Rajput Suicide Case 46 days after his death. A new development has come that now ED has also been added in this case. It is the third agency after Mumbai and Patna police to investigate Sushant’s case. The ED on Tuesday sought details of the FIR lodged by Sushant’s father. Sushant’s father KK Singh alleged in his complaint that a total of Rs 15 crore was withdrawn by Riya from Sushant’s account.

According to news agency PTI, a source said about the development in the case that the ED will analyze the FIR for further investigation. In a letter to the Bihar Police, the ED has also sought information about all bank accounts of Sushant Singh Rajput.

Start up and money transfer became the reason for investigation

Bihar Police reached Kotak Mahindra Bank in Bandra, Mumbai on Thursday to get information about Sushant Singh Rajput’s bank account. Sushant’s father alleged that Rs 15 crore was transferred from his bank account to three unannounced bank accounts. These accounts allegedly belong to Riya, her brother Shovik and her mother. Sushant and Riya, who were in the relationship, had invested in three start-ups simultaneously.

Riya also has a non-bailable stream. On the complaint of Sushant’s father, Patna’s Rajiv Nagar police has registered sections 341 (forcible control), 342 (forcible restraint), 380 (theft), 420 (cheating), 406 (killing trust) and 306 of IPC. Riya and her family have been accused under the charge of abetment to suicide.
