Mumbai: Man booked for killing lover’s husband in orchestrated accident


The victim had also taken a loan from the accused which he had failed to repay. The accused has been booked along with three of his accomplices.

A Mumbai man was booked for allegedly killing his lover’s husband and making it look like an accident. According to The Times of India, the accused Naushad Khan and three of his accomplices have also been arrested. The three aides have been identified as Ram Kumar, Noor Khan and Mohammad Taqi.

The victim, Ahadullah Khan was a civil painting contractor and had also taken a loan of Rs 2 lakh from the accused and failed to repay it.

His brother told the police that the accused was having an affair with Khan’s wife as well.

On June 16, Naushad took Khan to Turbhe where he and his accomplices hit him with an iron rod. “To make it look like an accident, they also ran a van over the victim’s head to smash his skull and fled,” senior inspector of Mumbai Police Kishore Gaike told The Times of India.
