Difference Between Bunker and Silo

Silos are systems designed to store various materials. Bunkers, on the other side, are underground shelters that are commonly used in battle. The key distinctions between the layout of a Bunker and Silo are given below:

Bunker Silo
Bunkers are rock hard devices.Silos are tall buildings.
Rupture plane crosses the horizontal surface at the tip.Rupture plan meets the opposite side of the building.
The overall content load is supported by the bunker board.The silo floor carries only a fraction of the total material load.
Rankine's Law measures the level of lateral friction at the sidewall.
Janssen's Law determines the force of lateral friction at the sidewall.
Bunkers are normally metallic and have less capacity to store.Silos are typically made of concrete.
