Follow the below steps to install Tusk Evernote alternative client in Ubuntu 16.04 – a best note taking app for Linux

First we have to download the Tusk evernote alternative client package from it’s official website. So use the below command to download the same.

Before start the installation of Tusk evernote alternative client package let’s update the packages & repositories of Ubuntu 16.04 using below command.

Now we are ready to install the Tusk note taking app. So let’s go ahead and install the same using below command.

As you can see above the Tusk application is asking for dependencies to complete the installation. Hence use the below command to install all required dependencies.

As you can see above we have successfully installed the Tusk evernote alternative client package. Now to confirm the same use the below command.

Now to open the application just type the command tusk-app on shell prompt. Refer the command below.

You can also open the Tusk note taking app graphically using Search your computer box. Refer the snapshot below.

To uninstall the application use the below command.

elinuxbook@ubuntu:~$ sudo dpkg -r tusk-app   # Uninstall the Application
